At 0851 hours, during narcotics surveillance in the Belltown neighborhood, officers developed probable cause to arrest a suspect for Investigation of VUCSA-Sale/Delivery. Search incident to arrest officers located 12g of suspect cocaine, $264 US Currency, and a loaded pistol.
#2025-214163/West Precinct/Second Watch/M3:
At 1731 hours, West Precinct officers were flagged down for a strong-arm robbery at Westlake Park. The victim flagged down officers stating that two suspects had taken his vape pen that was set beside him and grabbed it away. The victim was then subsequently kicked in the groin by one of the suspects. The suspects then fled on foot at which point the victim was able to flag down officers. Officers tracked down the two suspects a block away and went to detain the suspects. One of the suspects refused to comply with officers and began to physically fight against their detention. The suspect refused to comply and began to resist arrest and fight against officers. Type II UoF was deployed, and the suspect was taken into custody. Search incident to arrest the suspect was found to be in possession a verified stolen firearm reported out of KCSO from earlier in the month. The other suspect was fond in possession of the victim’s vape pen. Both suspects were arrested and booking into KCJ for multiple felonies. 212 was on scene.

At 1854 hours, A protest occurred at Westlake Park. There were no incidents to report. West monitored the protest until its conclusion.
