At 1150 hours, employees were inside a marijuana production facility when they observed two vehicles pulling up via security cameras. Several masked subjects exited the vehicles and approached the building. Attempts were made to forcefully enter the building using pry tools without success. The subjects fled without gaining entry. A nearby witness reported possible observing a weapon, but this could not be confirmed. The employees called 911 to report the incident. The suspects were gone prior to police arrival.
#2025-242260/West Precinct/Second Watch/K3:
At 1408 hours, Dispatch received reports of an assault near 4th Avenue South and South Jackson Street. Officers arrive and found an 88-year-old man with head injuries. Witness said the suspect pushed the victim to the ground as they exited a metro bus. The victim suffered a head and neck injury. The victim was transported to HMC. During the incident, the victim was knocked unconscious and did not remember the incident. Police searched the area for the suspect but had negative results.
