Seattle police officers recovered, Crystal Meth, brass knuckles, knives, cash, and other drugs during the arrest of a 33-year-old man in the University District.
On Sept. 2, at about 5:00 p.m., patrol officers saw a man selling drugs in the 4500 block of Brooklyn Avenue Northeast. The suspect pulled “a large bag of crystallin powder from his backpack. Two individuals approached [him] with money in their hand and exchanged it for the substance from the larger bag,” according to the police report.
Officers quickly arrested the suspect for narcotics possession with the intent to distribute. He told officers he didn’t have any weapons. Police recovered:
- Brass knuckles/knife combination
- Two folding knives
- Stun gun
- Pepper spray
- 4.2g Crystal Methamphetamine
- Vitamin C, sweetener
- Naloxone pills
- $62 cash, bank cards
- Scales, plastic baggies
Police booked the suspect into the King County Jail. Detectives in the Narcotics Unit are assigned to this case.
