#2025-257854/East Precinct/Third Watch/C3:

At 0917 hours, 911 call received reporting a person lighting fires in the area of 23 Ave/E Cherry St. The suspect lit furniture on fire. The furniture ignited trees and a residential fence. SFD arrived and extinguished the fire. If not for SFD personnel the fire would have spread from the fence to the home had they not intervened. The suspect was arrested and booked without incident.

#2025-258088/South Precinct/Second Watch/R3:

At 1243 hours, officers responded to a call for service at a housing facility because a resident was brandishing a knife in the front lobby. Officers arrived and contacted staff who stated that two residents were fighting. After reviewing video and speaking with the victim, it was determined that an assault occurred because of the victims perceived race. With that information officers devised a plan to arrest the suspect. The suspect agreed and came down to the lobby where he was contacted and arrested by officers. During the arrest he continued making bias statements about the victim.  

#2025-258387/South Precinct/Second Watch/S3

At 1635 hours, South patrol officers assigned to a violent crime detail heard several shots in the area of Rainier AV S/S Henderson ST. Those officers headed toward the nearby community center area to check the area. Simultaneously several calls came out about shot fired. The officers checked the area located evidence on the baseball field. The witness saw two masked suspects fleeing the area on foot after firing toward the playground of the community center. No victims or property damage were located.

#2025-258708/North Precinct/Third Watch/N3

At 2220 hours, several 911 calls received regarding possible shots being heard around N 102 ST / Aurora AV N. Officers responded to the location and located evidence. No victims / no property damage located. Patrol processed the scene.
