Seattle police arrested a 36-year-old man and recovered drugs, cash, and a gun during an arrest in First Hill.
On Sept. 22, at about 11:15 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of property damage at a church in the 1000 block of Harvard Avenue.
Police contacted a group of people on the property. During their investigation, officers recovered a gun from one of the detained men. Police identified him as a felon with two warrants for his arrest.
Officers asked the man if he had a Concealed Pistol License, and he responded that he “did not even know what a CPL was,” according to the police report.
Police arrested him for the firearms violation. During their search, they recovered:
- 17.7g of Cocaine
- 65.6g of Fentanyl
- 61.9g of Meth
- 1.2g of Black Tar Heroin
- 2.1g Psilocybin Mushrooms
- $1,156 Cash
- Handgun
The suspect, with multiple felony convictions, is prohibited from carrying guns. Officers booked him into the King County Jail for weapons and narcotics violations.
During their investigation, officers also arrested a 42-year-old woman for an outstanding warrant. Police booked her into SCORE jail.
Detectives in the Gun Violence Reduction Unit are assigned to this case.
