#2025-285179/West Precinct/Second Watch/K3:
At 1400 hours, the Downtown Activation Team conducted a small, targeted operation to address criminal and large crowds associated with narcotics and illegal vending activity in the CID (DAT 2). Officers assigned to DAT made several pro-active on-views and took two subjects into custody for narcotics and felony warrants. The deployment of officers was guided by information reviewed during biweekly DAT operational meetings.

At 2100 hours, a victim came to the West Precinct to report a Bias Crime that occurred on 9/26. Victim was outside of his apartment when he was assaulted by a partially known suspect who used biased language prior to and during the assault. The incident occurred several days prior to being reported.
#2025-285145/West Precinct/Second Watch/K3:
At 1430 hours, ART Officers were conducting directed patrol in the 12th and Jackson DAT zone. Officers made contact with a street vendor selling items without a permit. The street vendor did not want to speak with police after being instructed he was being detained and walked away. Backing units arrived and when the suspect was re-contacted, he began resisting. The suspect was eventually taken into custody.
