#2025-302575/West Precinct/Third Watch/M1:
At 0345 hours, officers responded to a DV assault in a downtown apartment. The intoxicated female suspect had assaulted her boyfriend. The suspect was taken into custody for DV Assault 4th Degree. While being escorted to the patrol car she assaulted an officer by kicking him causing minor pain but no injuries. Suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault 3rd degree and charges requested for DV Assault. 221 was notified of the assault on officer.
#2025-302718/North Precinct/First Watch/L1:
At 0817 hours, this morning a 10-year-old was talking in a group of friends and told them he had a bomb in his backpack. School security overheard this and reported it to the school officials who called 911. The juvenile quickly told the school he didn’t mean it and he was “joking”. Patrol immediately responded, backpack was clear. The school will handle the incident regarding the child. School was never placed in lockdown or evacuated.
