Seattle police officers are investigating a shooting that injured a 51-year-old man in South Seattle this morning.
At 2:53 a.m., patrol officers responded to a shooting and a man screaming in the 3600 block of 34th Avenue South. There, they found a man, bleeding, with a gunshot wound to his leg. Officers provided him with medical aid and applied a torniquet.
The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived and took over treatment. SFD transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
No suspect information is known. Officers did not find a gun or ballistic evidence. Police photographed and processed the scene, collecting other evidence.
