#2025-314519/North Precinct/First Watch/U3:

At 1136 hours, original occurring on Oct. 26 at 0500 hours, a neighbor reported hearing loud hammering and observing flashlight activity at a nearby house under construction. Responding patrol officers arrived several hours later but found no ongoing activity; the site was determined unsafe to enter. On October 27, 2025, at approximately 1140 hours, the construction company returned to the site and discovered broken windows, a hate symbol painted on an interior wall, and a hazardous setup involving a microwave placed in a room with two space heaters directed at it, causing partial melting and potential fire risk. The construction company is owned and operated by a Jewish family. 222 notified.

#2025-314595/West Precinct/Second Watch/K3:

At 1300 hours, The West Precinct conducted a high-visibility operation in all three DAT zones near Westlake Park, Little Saigon, and Pioneer Square. Officers assigned to the detail cleared public sidewalks, addressed criminal activity, and ensured public safety while city crews conducted a wide scope of cleanup and restoration work in all areas. Officers assigned to proactive enforcement made two arrests for warrants and narcotics and assisted SDOT with illegal vending enforcement. The success of this operation speaks to the professionalism and dedication of all involved. Special thanks to the PEOs for their ongoing assistance. Captain O’Donnell was on-scene during the operational period.

#2025-315095/South Precinct/Third Watch/R2:

At 2020 hours, dispatch broadcast shots call in the south precinct. Officers arrived in the area and found multiple shell casings in the roadway adjacent to a greenbelt area. Officers processed the scene. No observed property damage or victim of GSW located. GVRU notified.

#2025-315083/East Precinct/Third Watch/K2:

At 2004 hours, officer was en-route to get gas at Charles St. Just outside the entrance at 7 Av S/S Charles Street the officers patrol vehicle was struck by another motorist. No injuries. No air bag deployment. Vehicle was left at Charles St. 243, East station master notified.
