Seattle police are investigating a drive-by shooting that injured a 26-year-old man in Capitol Hill this morning.
Just before 3:00 a.m., patrol officers responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of East Olive Way. There, officers found a victim with a gunshot wound to the arm. The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived and treated the victim. SFD transported him to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Officers found ballistic evidence near East Denny Way and East Olive Way, and they processed the scene. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. There is limited information about the incident at this time.
The suspect(s) fled in a vehicle, northbound on East Olive Way before police arrived. Officers searched the area, yet they did not find the vehicle.
