Man Arrives at Hospital After Being Shot in the Head

Seattle police are investigating after a man arrived at the hospital this morning after being shot in the head somewhere in the city.

At about 2:20 a.m., patrol officers responded to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) after staff called 911 reporting that a “walk-in GSW victim” arrived at the emergency room.

The man came to HMC in a car with no license plates. An unknown man, driving the car, walked him into the hospital and then left before police arrived.

The victim, in stable condition, had a single GSW behind his left ear. He told officers that the injury occurred in Seattle but would not tell them where it happened. Police recovered his clothing as evidence and notified detectives in the Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
