#2025-334755/East Precinct/Second Watch/E2:
At 1604 hours, East officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 21 AV E for a report of a shots fired from a vehicle. Delivery driver reported on scene that a subject driving a gold vehicle up and down the block several times before stopping in the middle of the street next to his vehicle. The suspect inside the gold vehicle fired several shots before driving off south on 21 AV E. No injuries and no property damage. Officers recovered shell casings. GVRU notified.
#2025-344844/North Precinct/Second Watch/B3:
At 1737 hours 911 received a call of a male from an earlier road rage incident banging on the door of the victim’s home. The victim was home with her 8y/o daughter, and the suspect was banging on the door and yelling that he would kill the victim and burn their house down. Officers arrived on scene and immediately gathered a photo of the suspect who had left on foot. Patrol was able to contact the suspect on the phone and convinced them to meet them to file his own report. The suspect, who was very escalated advised he was en-route to Children’s hospital and agreed to meet officers there. Officers quickly deployed to the hospital and took the suspect into custody for felony harassment. The suspect was located inside of the ER waiting area of Children’s Hospital. A loaded, stolen firearm was found on the suspect. Further investigation revealed the suspect is a convicted felon/sex offender. The suspect was transported and booked into KCJ.
