#2025-341354/East Precinct/Third Watch/C1:
At 0015 hours, Officers responded to a report of a DV incident in 600 block of Harvard Av E. Officers established PC for DV Threats to kill, DV Assault 4, DV Theft, DV Property damage and Interfering with reporting DV incident. Suspect fled the scene and returned to his apartment in Robert 2. Officers responded to the suspects apartment at on 26 Av S and spoke with security that observed the suspect arrive at the building and enter the elevator. Officers knocked and attempted contact with the suspect inside the apartment with negative results. The apartment was contained as the primary officer applied for a search warrant. With a signed search warrant, officers served the warrant. the suspect was not there. HNT and 213 were on scene.
#2025-342124/South Precinct/Second Watch/R3:
At 1635 hours, two suspects were involved in an altercation in front of a day care. Several 9-1-1 callers reported that both suspects were armed with pistols. Moments later shots fired was broadcasted on SPD Radio. Officers responded and located 30 spent shell casings, no victims, and property damage to one parked vehicle. Officers obtained descriptions of suspects and vehicles fleeing the area, but no suspects were located by patrol. Video footage from the daycare was reviewed and images of the suspect vehicle were located. The vehicle had no license plate for identification but matched the description of a suspect vehicle involved in several robberies and shootings in the past week. GVRU notified.
#2025-342450/North Precinct/Third Watch/N2:
At 2233 hours, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision / burglary at a gas station / auto mechanic shop. Upon arrival, officers located the security person who stated that while he was sleeping in his truck, he was awoken to a burglary occurring in the business. He stated he tried to reposition his truck to block the suspect’s vehicle in the parking lot. This resulted in a ramming match between two pickup trucks. The suspects were eventually able to push passed and flee south on Aurora Av N. The suspect vehicle was located a short distance away unoccupied and was impounded. Officers processed the scene. Suspect stole diagnostic tools from the mechanic’s shop. Suspects were not located.
