At 0059 hours, officers responded to a drive-by shooting near Mercer St/Queen Anne AV N. Witnesses stated a dark colored SUV was seen speeding southbound and the passenger fired two rounds out the window. Shell casings were found on the roadway, but no victims or property damage were located. Patrol processed the scene and GVRU notified.

At 1107 hours, 911 received a call of a demo in area of SW Alaska St/Fauntleroy Way SW. 1-William responded and observed about 20 individuals on sidewalk. They had “No Kings” signs among others, as well as chanting and some drumming on buckets. The group stayed on the sidewalk and did not interfere with other pedestrians or traffic. Noise levels did not exceed normal levels for daytime. Group eventually moved to the Junction, staying on sidewalks and obeying pedestrian laws. 252 notified.
