At 1443 hours, officers received a 911 call that a suspect was armed with an axe and was charging and swinging the axe at passerby in the area of S Bush Pl / Hiawatha Pl S. Officers located the suspect, who was also armed with a large knife, and he refused police orders to drop the axe. Because the area was busy and the suspect posed a potential threat to citizens nearby, an officer deployed a less lethal tool, and the suspect dropped the weapon. Officers negotiated with the suspect, who yelled “Just kill me!” several times, until they were able to safety form an arrest team and take the suspect into custody without any further force. Seattle Fire Department provided medical attention to the suspect. The suspect was then taken to King County Jail for booking via AMR. Units 242, Car 24, and HNT were also on the scene.
#2025-356343/North Precinct/Second Watch/B3:
At 1500 hours, fficers were dispatched to a disturbance at a DESC building in Boy sector. Officers developed probable cause for misdemeanor assault and property destruction. When officers approached the suspect, she was holding two plastic rods in her hands. The suspect threw the rods at officers, striking one in the face. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked for Assault 3, Assault 4, and property destruction. The officer was not injured. Assault on Officer screened with 212-Lt. Waldorf.

At 0004 hours, an officer assigned to the 2025 Drunknet on-viewed a subject in a busy roadway. The subject refused to exit the roadway. A brief foot pursuit prompted a city-wide broadcast. The subject was taken into custody with a Type II use of force and booked into SCORE on a felony warrant.
