#2025-356949/East Precinct/Second Watch/G1:

At 0103 hours, HMC video footage showed a suspect walk up to a Tesla that was parked near 9 Ave/Alder St. The suspect broke the window with an object and lit the vehicle on fire. The vehicle was completely destroyed from the fire. The owner of the vehicle was an employee at HMC. FM5 responded to the scene. ABS was notified about the incident.

#2025-357373/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch/F1:

At 1308 hours, An unknown suspect placed what appeared to be a military ordnance mine in front of the Southwest Precinct along with a camera. ABS responded and determined the device to be an imitation device. ABS took custody of the device and camera and will conduct the follow-up.

#2025-357887/West Precinct/Third Watch/Q1:

At 2341 hours, officers responded to a vehicle vs parked vehicle collision in the Magnolia area. They arrived and found the suspect vehicle sideways against a power pole. The heavily intoxicated driver had to be cut out of the vehicle by SFD. He was the sole occupant and was injured. He was found to be under the influence and taken into custody. He was transported to HMC by SFD with non-life threatening injuries. A blood warrant was obtained, and charges are being requested for DUI. The collision caused significant damage to the power pole which will require a full replacement by City Light. The collision caused a significant road closure due to the power pole being nearly severed in half. Drunknet officers assieted.
