At 0321 hours, officers were dispatched to a video alarm at a commercial marijuana farm. The alarm company saw three individuals attempting to force entry into the building. Officers arrived in the area quickly and confronted two vehicles at the rear of the building. One of the vehicles struck a patrol car before the occupant gave up to officers. The second vehicle fled almost striking the same patrol before fleeing onto I-5. The vehicle that rammed the patrol car was verified as stolen and had a safe in the bed not related to this incident. K9 arrived and assisted with clearing the building and no additional suspects were arrested. The suspect was transported and booked into KCJ.

At 1659 hours, dispatch received reports of a strongarm robbery, and one witness initially stated that a gun was seen. Officers arrived and located the victim; the suspects were three older juveniles wearing dark clothing. The suspects took the victim’s purse, cellphone, wallet and checks. The Robbery unit was also notified.

At 2339 hours, a man stated that he was nearly involved in a collision with someone walking their dog in the 9000 block of Delridge Way Southwest. When he stopped and stepped out of his vehicle to address the incident, an unknown man in a dark colored Chevy appeared, armed with a firearm. The armed man yelled, and then punched the victim, knocking him to the ground and causing him to drop his phone. The armed man then took the victim’s phone and struck the victim twice more before driving off southbound. An area check for the suspect/vehicle was negative and the phone was unable to be tracked. The victim showed no visible sign of injury.
