At 1800 hours, officers were dispatched to a robbery call at a grocery store, 1400 East John. The suspect was stopped by loss prevention for stealing $13 worth of food. When confronted by loss prevention, the suspect brandished an unfolded knife and then fled on foot. An extensive search yielded negative results for the suspect. Loss prevention employees obtained a clear photo of the suspect.
