#2026-14031/North Precinct/Second Watch/N3:
At 1709 hours, officers were assaulted by a juvenile suspect, as they were attempting to send them to the hospital for an ITA. The suspect was restrained on a gurney, after additional Officers arrived. Due to the age and mental state of the suspect, they were still sent to the hospital.
#2026-15279/North Precinct/Second Watch/U1:
At 1549 hours, Officers responded to a report of a dog attack in-progress. Caller reported a dog attacked a victim and that multiple people on scene were in a disturbance at a local city park. On arrival the dogs and suspect dog-owner were no longer on scene. One female adult victim was on-scene with injuries from a dog attack, and screened & treated by SFD. A local TV news camera crew was nearby when the incident took place and provided video of the suspect feeling the scene with the dogs.
#2026-15344/East Precinct/Second Watch/E1:
At 1644 hours, a suspect entered Columbia Bank located in the 500 block of Broadway Ave E. The suspect approached the bank teller with a note stating, “This is a robbery; I have a gun no dye packs.” The teller provided the suspect with money and he fled the scene. Latent prints responded to the scene and collected forensic evidence. A couple of hours later a call came in at Goodwill advising they located a note from a bank robbery in a changing room. Officers converged on the area and got video footage of the suspect who left the note. Officers on an area check located the suspect and took him into custody. The suspect was found to be in possession of money believed to be taken in the bank robbery. The suspect was transported to HQ where robbery detectives interviewed him. The suspect was booked for investigation of robbery for today’s incident. During the investigation it was also determined that this suspect was also responsible for a bank robbery that occurred yesterday (26-13982). Yesterday’s case will be followed up by the SPD Robbery Unit.
