#2026-15774/East Precinct/Third Watch/G2:

At 0134 hours, complainants called 911 to report hearing shots at the 300 BLK of Lake Washington BV S. Officers arrived and located a bullet in a bridge. Officers didn’t locate any other property damage.

#2026-16236/West Precinct/Second Watch/K1:

At 1432 hours, Officers responded to a library for the report of a male refusing to leave yelling bias remarks. The suspect was gone when officers arrived however after speaking with security at the library, they developed probable cause of a hate crime as the suspect singled out the security of color and threatened to assault them as he called them derogatory names. The victims all believed they were targeted because of their race and gender. Suspect was not located.

#2026-16035-South Precinct/Second Watch/R2:

At 1242 hours, second watch patrol officers observed approximately 300 people marching along Rainier Ave S near S Mt Baker Blvd. Some of the people marching were blocking the lane of travel on Rainier Ave S. Patrol notified CSOs who were coordinating with the event organizers of this issue and shortly thereafter all marchers returned to the sidewalk. The march was escorted CSOs and Seattle Public Schools staff and concluded at Rainier Community Center.

#2026-16295/West Precinct/Second Watch/D2:

At 1549 hours, Amazon security called 911 and reported there were 50 protesters enroute to one of their campuses. 2 Sergeants responded to the scene and spoke with a liaison from the group protesting. They spoke to Amazon security. The protestors had blocked one road but appeared to be protesting peacefully. The group was left in place and Amazon security was advised to call if things escalated.

#2026-16570/West Precinct/Third Watch/M1:

At 2148 hours, 2150 hrs the suspect approached the victim (security guard) in the area of 3/Pike. As the suspect approached the security guard he made a comment about how he dislikes his race and slapped him in head. The suspect also lifted his shirt and displayed what appeared to be a firearm. Officers did an area check with negative results. 213 was notified. Bias notifications also made.
