At 0208 hours, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of S Holden St after a caller reported hearing multiple shots, followed by the sound of a vehicle speeding away. Officers arrived to find evidence in the middle of an empty street. Surveillance footage revealed that four shots were likely fired from a passing vehicle. There were no victims nor any property damage. Evidence was collected and GVRU was notified.

At 1056 hours, an individual arrived on foot at the Southwest Precinct and attempted to enter the building. The lobby doors were locked during this time, so the subject kicked the door several times. The subject left the front of the building and walked along the east side of the building, picking up mole hills and throwing them at the precinct windows and patrol vehicles. As the subject arrived at the north end of the parking lot, he jumped up to a tree branch and swung his legs toward the fence in what appeared to be an attempt to gain access to the secured parking lot. 251 and Car 25 were notified of the incident.

At 1446 hours, two suspects confronted the victim in the bathroom of the community college. A handgun was pointed at the victim and the suspects demanded “everything you got”. The victim gave the suspects money, and they in turn left the area in a vehicle. An area and R/O’s address checked negatively for the vehicle. 224 and Robbery notified.

At 1925 hours, several calls into 911 about shots heard from various locations. Officers located a scene in the roadway of 3900 block of Cheasty Blvd S. One of the many greenspaces popular for shots being fired in the geographical area of south precinct. Officers photographed, gathered, and submitted evidence. No property damage located. GVRU was notified.
