At 2148 hours, officers contacted suspicious subject. Upon contact male became verbally aggressive and began making threats to kill. He then started walking away. Officer followed. While waiting for backup, subject turned and pointed an object resembling firearm at officer and then fled on foot. Officer took cover and then chased on foot. Multiple officers responded. Subject was taken into custody without incident. Subsequently booked after decline from KCJ.

At 0100 hours, officers contacted suspicious subject. Upon contact male became verbally aggressive and began making threats to kill. He then started walking away. Officer followed. #2026-28850/West Precinct/Second Watch/K1:
At 1200 hours, there was a planned demonstration at the Federal Building in Downtown Seattle. The approximate number of participants ranged from 100 – 150. Officers observed the traffic flowing as members of the group held signs and chanted. The gathering was peaceful and there were no reports of property damage or acts of violence.
#2026-28918/West Precinct/Second Watch/M1:
At 1316 hours, officers responded to a planned Anti-Immigration Customs and Enforcement demonstration at Target located in downtown Seattle. It was reported that there were approximately 100 participants, of which some were inside of the store refusing to leave. Officers observed the individuals on the north side of the business in front of the doors. Contact was made with Target Security who were instructed to direct patrons to exit on the south side of the business. There were minor disturbances related to this event but nothing significant. The crowd eventually dispersed. POET 1, POET 4, 212, West Bikes and West Patrol were on scene.
#2026-29021/West Precinct/Second Watch/M3:
At 1451 hours, Victim met up with her ex-boyfriend in an attempt to convince him to go to rehab. During the meeting, the suspect’s dog started to attack the victim for unknown reasons. The victim attempted to protect herself and her unborn child while being attacked by the dog. A witness stated the suspect did not actively try to remove the dog from attacking the victim. The victim was able to get away from the suspect and his dog and flagged down the Officers. As Officers were interviewing the victim, somehow the dog got away from the suspect and ran toward the victim. Officers attempted to give the dog verbal commands to stop but it bypassed everyone and got back to the victim and attempted to bite the victim further. Officers shot the dog to prevent it from further harming the victim. Dog was eventually transported to a nearby veterinary clinic. An area check for the suspect was unsuccessful in locating him. Update: Officers later found him, arrested him, and booked him into jail.
#2026-29128/East Precinct/Second Watch/G2:
At 1624 hours, Officers responded to a Shots Fired Call at 20 Ave S / S Jackson St. A victim was located who reported that a random suspect shot at him twice after the victim told the suspect not to use narcotics in the neighborhood. Witnesses confirmed hearing shots, but no casings recovered. Video footage was obtained of the suspect vehicle. GVRU notified.
#2026-29216/North Precinct/Second Watch/B2:
At 1747 hours, 1747 hours officers responded to a possible burglary in progress in the area of 3800 block Linden Av N. Recently this area has been targeted by burglars and prowlers. Officers rushed to the area and quickly located the suspect. Victim stated the suspect had attempted to gain entry into her home. Suspect saw the victim and continued to try the doorknob. The suspect then opened and stole an amazon package from the porch. The suspect was taken into custody, and further investigation revealed the suspect has a DOC Escape warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. The suspect has multiple felony convictions. The prompt response by patrol took a violent offender off the streets and interrupted the burglary. The suspect was armed with a knife (not used in the crime).
