At 0647 hours, officers responded to a shooting around 16th Avenue South and South Dakota Street. The caller reported that a male had fired a handgun at a female driving a white car. Officers arrived and found evidence, but the parties involved had already left the area. Later at approximately 0802 hours, the involved male called 911 to report the shooting. police placed him under arrest and recovered a firearm. The male provided a brief account of the incident but was not entirely forthcoming about certain details. The male was transported to SPD HQ. Detectives attempted to interview the male, but he declined to provide a statement. The male was booked into KCJ for Investigation of Assault. The involved female and vehicle are still outstanding.

At 1530 hours, officers were dispatched to an attempted bank robbery at a bank in the 1600 block of 4th Avenue. A male suspect entered the bank and demanded money, but the teller refused and the suspect quickly left the scene on foot. While conducting an area check, officers located the suspect and quickly took him into custody. The suspect was transported to SPD HQ and was interviewed by Robbery detectives before being booked into KCJ for Investigation of Robbery.

At 2310 hours, officers responded to a report of threats in the 700 block of Seneca Street. Police arrived in the area and contacted a subject matching the description of the suspect on the call that was threatening people with a bottle. Suspect fled from officers on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended. Suspect was booked into score jail for felony warrant.
