At 1702 hours, officers were flagged down by a citizen regarding a suspect pepper spraying the East Precinct Lobby doors. Officers reviewed video footage and searched the area for the suspect but could not be located. The OC spray was thoroughly washed and cleaned.

At 1900 hours, officers participated in a regional High Visibility Emphasis for DUI. They contacted 25 drivers, issued 23 citations, and made four DUI arrests, including one after a likely street racing-related collision that closed down East Marginal Way for more than two hours. Officers made a 5th arrest for Reckless Driving (68MPH in a 25MPH zone). The patrol was funded by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
