At 0610 hours, a male victim called 911 to report an unknown male, armed with a handgun, attempted to rob him and his female friend as they sat in her vehicle in a local park. The male victim passenger exited the vehicle and ran, and after the chasing the male victim briefly, the suspect returned and entered the female’s vehicle. The armed suspect ordered the female victim to drive him around the area before having her drop him off at a bus stop nearby. The suspect stole the female victim’s phone, and she was later found in the area by patrol officers. Suspect not located at this time.
