At 1833 hours, officers responded to a person slumping over in a running vehicle in a supermarket parking lot. Officers arrived and set up for a felony stop. Upon approaching the vehicle officers immediately observed a subject that passed out, vehicle running and a firearm next to the driver’s seat. Officers requested additional units and the suspect out of the vehicle and placed her into custody. An investigation revealed the suspect provided a false name and identification. Additional weapons were seen in the vehicle including a hammer, large butcher knife, crowbar and wig. The recovered firearm was reported stolen. The suspect had a DOC warrant and was arrested for VUFA, identity theft and her warrant. The vehicle was impounded awaiting a search warrant. Additional charges to be determined once the search of the vehicle is completed.
