At 0402 hours, SPD Officers responded to an assault in the West Precinct area. Upon arrival, officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for Assault 2nd Degree (DV). The officers formed a contact team and approached the suspect’s unit. The suspect answered the door, and he was arrested without further incident. The officer applied, and the search warrant was approved. The officers searched the suspect’s unit and recovered the evidence used during the incident. The suspect was booked for Investigation of Assault and other misdemeanor charges. Unit 211 screened for the incident.
#2026-55832/East Precinct/First Watch/E2:
At 0942 hours, call received reporting a male brandished a knife and stole food items from Walgreens. Metro advised person matching the description exited a bus near 3rd/Union. West officers assisted East in an area check. The suspect was not located.
#2026-56578/North Precinct/L1/Third Watch:
At 2235 hours, Officers responded to A burglary in the 11500 block 22 AV NE. The caller reported four masked individuals who forced their way into a home and assaulted someone inside. Officers arrived and cleared the residence, and the suspects had left the scene. The home was occupied by teenagers having a party. Suspects were seen fleeing westbound on 115th. Suspects were not located and Robbery was notified.
