#2026-73736/West Precinct/Second Watch/Q3:

At 1420 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1600 blk of Aurora AV N for an assist SFD call. Seattle Fire Department was responding to an encampment fire located at that location. One of the tents was fully engulfed in flames. Fire spread to nearby wood fence and a down spout for an adjacent building causing property damage. Nothing suspicious was located at the scene. SFD Marshall responded to the location.

#2026-73844/East Precinct/Second Watch/G1:

At 1919 hours, officers arrested a suspect for Assault 4 at HMC, 325 9 Ave. While being placed onto the AMR for transport, the suspect spit on the victim officer’s arm. A spit sock was placed on the suspect. Later, while at KCJ, the suspect spit through the spit sick onto the same victim officers face. Fortunately, the saliva missed the victim officer’s eyes. The victim officer decontaminated himself. Suspect booked into KCJ for Assault 3. Type 1 Use of Force used.

#2026-73957/North Precinct/Second Watch/J2:

At 1100 hours, officers and GIU conducted a retail theft operation. Officers in plain clothes staged inside of the stores and several arrest teams staged outside. The Walgreens on Stone Way and the Walgreens on 8500 15th Av NW were the initial locations, and several arrests were made early on. Officers received word that eight shoplifts occurred at the Northgate location. Two arrest teams and the plain clothes officer changed location and set up at the Northgate Walgreens. Additional arrests were made at that location. In total there were 8 arrests for retail theft. This was excellent coordination and communication of uniformed patrol officers, plain clothes officers and GIU.

#2026-74007/North Precinct/Third Watch/U2:

At 1915 hours, KCSO requested assistance for a demonstration in the vicinity of the light rail station in the 4300 blk of Brooklyn Av NE. Approximately 75 to 100 people gathered near the light rail station to protest reported ICE activity in the area several hours earlier. After loitering, they moved toward the area of the alleged ICE activity, and ended up in the 4700 blk of 20 Av NE. Several Officers monitored the progress of the group while from afar and waited for the group to move again from the 4700 blk of 20 Av NE. At approximately 2100, the group dispersed. There were no incidents of property destruction or injuries.

#2026-73177/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W2:

At 0415 hours, officers responded to a DV Assault in the 4500 block of 42 Av Sw, where probable cause was established to arrest the suspect, who refused to leave their apartment. HNT was enroute when the suspect exited her apartment and was said to have sprinted at officers who were holding containment. She was taken into custody following a Type II Use of Force, which resulted in no injury. An on-duty lieutenant was notified, and the suspect was booked into KCJ for misdemeanor assault.
