At 1102 hours, officers responded to the vicinity of 17th Ave South and Lander Street during a scheduled bill-signing event featuring the governor. The response was initiated at the request of the Washington State Patrol and the property representative due to a minor disturbance caused by several individuals. The subjects were issued verbal trespass warnings and left the premises without further incident. No arrests were made.

At 1613 hours, a suspect lured the victim to 137th and Burke Ave N under the pretense of a Facebook Marketplace transaction of a watch. Upon meeting, the suspect produced a firearm and demanded the watch before fleeing on foot. Officers attempted to locate the suspect; SPD and KCSO K-9 were both unavailable. The incident was screened with Robbery.
