#2026-80511/South Precinct/First Watch/O1:

At 0955 hours, officers responded to the area of S Massachusetts St and Airport way S for a Carjacking. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party and both involved employees. The employees were off-loading vehicles from their car hauler, when a female suspect jumped inside of one of the running vehicles. The two employees ran over and tried to get the suspect out of the running vehicle just before she slammed the vehicle in reverse. This action trapped both employees between the A and B pillars and the open door. While doing so, she additionally stated that she would shoot the employees. These actions allowed her to get away from the scene in the vehicle. Tracking was active in the vehicle, so officers were able to track the vehicle through Tukwila and to an address in SeaTac. The primary officers along with assistance from Tukwila PD, were able to safety take the suspect into custody after she parked and went inside a business. The incident was screened with 231 and Robbery. Suspect was booked into KCJ after a brief detour to Harborview for medical decline reasons.

#2026-80677/West Precinct/Second Watch/K3:

At 1230 hours, 2nd watch officers were assigned proactive patrol in the CID area. Officers conducted visible presence in the parks and surrounding areas deterring illegal activities. Two arrests were made. One for (on-view) theft and the other for (911 call) possession of burglary tools and a Misd. warrant.

#2026-80775/North Precinct/Second Watch/L1:

At 1432 hours, patrol responded to a grenade that was found in the attic of a house during cleanup. ABS responded and determined the grenade to be military ordnance, specifically a 40mm grenade projectile. ABS took custody of the ordnance until it could be handed over to Army EOD.

#2026-81008/East Precinct/Second Watch/E2:

At 1832 hours, a random suspect was riding his bicycle near the area of 808 12 Ave. He got off his bike and walked up to the victim yelling homophobic slurs. The suspect punched the victim once in the face and then rode off on his bicycle. The victim was treated on scene by SFD. Witnesses were able to get a good photograph of the suspect. 243 and Bias Crimes Coordinator notified.
