Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old man in the Chinatown-International District last fall.
On March 27, Seattle police detectives arrested two suspects, 18, and 19, following a monthslong investigation into the robbery and murder that happened on Sept. 22, 2025.
Detectives established probable cause to arrest the suspects for murder following a lengthy and detailed investigation involving multiple search warrants, review of video surveillance footage, and the collection of forensic evidence.
SPD’s SWAT, K9, and Community Response Group teams served search warrants on March 27. One man was arrested one man in Granite Falls and the other in Marysville.
The two were booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Murder, Robbery, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Detectives Investigate Shooting in Chinatown-International District

Detectives are investigating a shooting that left on man deceased and another seriously injured in Chinatown International District Neighborhood.
Shortly after 9:40 p.m., dispatch received reports of a shooting at 12th Avenue South and South Lane Street.
Police arrived and found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid until Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived. Despite life-saving efforts the male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
A second man was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. SFD provided aid and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
