#2026-96582/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/F2:
At 0027 hours, SW Patrol responded to a report of shots heard in the area of 35 Ave SW and SW Cambridge St. Officers responded and located a scene that stretched across the intersection. Three residences and three unoccupied vehicles were struck by the gunfire. No witnesses, suspects or person victims were located at the time of this SIR. Recovered on scene were dozens of shell casings. GVRU Notified.
#2026-62157/South Precinct/First Watch/S3:
At 0900 hours, with the assistance of first watch East Precinct Officers, GIU served a search warrant on an address in the Rainier Valley. The suspect was arrested and booked into KCJ for an unrelated felony warrant without incident. Valuable evidence for the current GIU case was recovered.
#2026-97352/East Precinct/Second Watch/C2:
At 1745 hours, Officers responded to the 2700 block of East Roy St for a multiple vehicle collision. The first vehicle was driving eastbound on East Roy Street when the brakes allegedly ceased to work. The vehicle soared through the air at one point before landing and crashing into two vehicles. The second vehicle was occupied by two and was stopped by a front lawn; another vehicle was parked on the south side of the roadway and pushed onto the sidewalk. The first vehicle stopped at the bottom of the hill, at 28th Avenue East. The Seattle Fire Department SFD arrived on scene and assessed medical needs on scene. Two passengers in the first car were injured and taken to the hospital via AMR for further medical evaluation. Driver of this car was not determined to be impaired. The occupants of the second car were uninjured. TCIS, 243 were notified.
#2026-97543/North Precinct/Third Watch/L3:
At 2129 hours, hours a security guard, employed at 12517 33 Ave NE called to report damage to his vehicle that he believes was racially motivated. The victim has had several issues with unhoused individuals in and around this address. However, the victim was unable to provide any suspect information, and no video evidence was available when patrol responded to do their investigation.
#2026-97525/South Precinct/Third Watch/R2:
At 2110 hours, a victim kicked boyfriend out of her apartment, unknown timeframe of when. The suspect made his way into the secured apartment complex to the eighth floor and into her apartment, where he lay in wait under her son’s bed. Victim came home to abruptly discover that the suspect was in the apartment. A disturbance occurred, she attempted to make an emergency phone call, the suspect grabbed the phone and prevented the call from being completed. Resulted in a hang up call. A physical altercation ensued with hitting, scratching, and his forearm being pressed against her throat. She was able to escape the apartment and contact security. Officers searched the apartment, common areas of the building, and immediate area outside of building. A call for assistance into Thurston County Sheriff’s Office to attempt to locate the suspect at his domicile, RV. Suspect was located and custody transferred to Seattle PD. Suspect was booked into KCJ for Investigation of Burglary and Assault. Screened with DV.
