#2026-121042/Southwest Precinct/First Watch/F2

At 1051 hours, officers responded to a residence in the 7900 block of Delridge Way Southwest. The victim advised that her son had attacked her before arming himself with a knife. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted the victim, a 61-year-old woman. Officers developed Probable Cause to arrest a 41-year-old man for domestic violence assault and felony harassment. Officers believed that the suspect had barricaded himself inside the residence. HNT and SWAT arrived on the scene, attempted several hours to get the suspect to come out from the residence, but was not successful. Officers obtained a warrant to arrest the suspect inside the residence. SWAT conducted a search of the house, but the suspect was not inside. Patrol Officers processed the scene and cleared. The victim was transported to the hospital by AMR for evaluation.

At 1817 hours, two suspects forced entry into a business in the 3600 block West Marginal Way Southwest and stole items from inside. After the suspect fled, an employee approached the entry point and began taking photos. The suspects pulled up in a vehicle, exited, and took the victim’s phone after pushing him to the ground. The suspects returned to their vehicle but pointed a firearm at the victim as they were leaving. The victim returned to his nearby vehicle, retrieved his personal firearm, and fired at the suspects as they were pointing their weapon. The suspects promptly fled the scene in a vehicle. Officers responded and located the victim. The scene was processed and evidence was collected to include the victim weapon and video evidence. An area check for the suspect was negative. The incident was screened with the Robbery Unit.

#2026-121541/East Precinct/Third Watch/E3

officers received reports of a four-car collision at Boren Avenue and Cherry Street. The investigation revealed a 46-year-old woman was driving a Hyundai northbound on Boren Avenue at a high rate of speed when she collided with a Chevrolet. The Chevrolet was being driven by a 32-year-old man who was also northbound. The collision pushed the Chevrolet into a Subaru going northbound which was driven by a woman 40-50 years of age. The driver of the Hyundai then crossed over into the southbound lanes and struck a Cadillac which was driven by a 31-year-old male. The Hyundai then rolled before coming to rest. The driver of the Cadillac suffered significant facial injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center. The drivers of Hyundai and Chevrolet were not injured. The driver of the Hyundai will be evaluated for impairment. TCIS responded and processed the scene. The 46-year-old driver was booked into King County Jail for investigation of vehicular assault.
