At 0204 hours, driver of vehicle called 9-1-1 to report that her vehicle was submerged in the water off East Marginal Way South and Diagonal Avenue South, Diagonal Park. First responders arrived on scene and observed the vehicle was on the shoreline/embankment, not submerged in the water. Driver stated she was parked in the lot, when an acquaintance arrived on a bicycle and started a disturbance by hitting her vehicle with a large piece of driftwood. The driver attempted to place the vehicle into gear and attempted to drive out of the parking lot; however, she accelerated which caused her to drive over the bicycle and a large tree trunk that was laid horizontal. The vehicle made it down the embankment into the shallow water and across the shoreline where it came to rest on muddy terrain. No injuries. No signs of impairment. 233 notified.

At 1232 hours, officers responded to a report of a robbery around Rainier Avenue South and South Dearborn Street. The victim stated that he was near 12th Avenue and South King Street when he accidentally dropped around $90 on the ground. The suspect then picked up the victim’s cash. As the victim tried to retrieve his money, the suspect brandished a knife and threatened to kill him. The suspect then fled southbound on Rainier Avenue South, boarded a metro bus, and left the area. Officers conducted a thorough search for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

At 1604 hours, officers responded to assistance an outside agency who made an arrest of a vehicular assault suspect. Upon arriving it was determined that it was the US Marshals Task Force (they were all Snohomish County Deputies). They observed a driver of a vehicle attempting to run down another female riding a lime scooter. The driver made multiple significant attempts to run down the lime scooter rider, darting between cars, sidewalks and bike lanes. They stopped the driver and detained for SPD. Since the crime occurred inside the city SPD took custody of the suspect and incident, she was booked into KCJ.
