Seattle police officers arrested a 32-year-old man armed with a knife, following a burglary in the Little Saigon neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
On May 5 at about 3:35 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of 10th Avenue. Once officers arrived, they found the 37-year-old victim, who was not injured.
Police believe the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim after prowling her car, which was parked in locked parking lot. According to the police report, the victim felt “terrified and feared for her life.” The suspect left the area on foot, heading east on South Jackson Street.
An analyst in the Real Time Crime Center reviewed the community space cameras. She found the suspect near 10th Avenue and South Jackson Street and relayed this information to responding officers.
Police found the suspect nearby and arrested him. They recovered the knife as evidence.
Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail for 1st Degree Burglary.
