At 1809 hours, Officers were dispatched to a welfare check with the subject urinating and rolling around in the grass making unusual noises drooling and foaming at the mouth. When SPD arrived, the suspect was unreactive to SFD laying on the ground. SFD was able to rouse the suspect who then attempted to attack SFD, the suspect went into the street and then attempted to attack an Officer who deployed a taser in the defense of himself and SFD. AMR was utilized to transport the combative subject. The suspect was then arrested and booked into KCJ.
