At 1531 hours, East Precinct Patrol responded to a report of this suspect viewing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in public areas and posting up outside of a middle school to watch the children leave. The suspect was not in the area when patrol arrived. Officers wrote up a detailed report with probable cause to arrest the suspect. SPD Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit detectives recognized the suspect from previous arrest. ICAC detectives and East Patrol, located the suspect, and took him into custody without incident. The suspect admitted possessing CSAM and several items of evidence were collected. The suspect was booked into King County Jail on new charges.

At 1600 hours, SPD VICE detectives conducted a truly victim centered investigation leading to probable cause for a sex trafficking suspect with extensive violent criminal history. North Precinct Patrol Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and acted quickly to secure the area. VICE detectives and SWAT responded to the area. The suspect was observed on foot, and he was taken into custody by SWAT. The suspect was interviewed and then booked into King County Jail for assault and trafficking related charges.
