#2026-161896/South Precinct/Third Watch/O1

At 0846 hours, officers responded to investigate a harassment call in the East Precinct area. Upon arrival, the officers found probable cause for felony harassment. The suspect had fled the area in a vehicle but was tracked to North Seattle. With the assistance of the North Precinct’s officers, the suspect was arrested without further incident. A handgun was recovered. Upon further investigation, the suspect was a convicted felon who was prohibited from possessing a firearm. The suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Felony Harassment and VUFA.  

#2026-162277/West Precinct/Second Watch/D1

At 1700 hours, officers in the West Precinct area responded to a priority threat incident where a firearm was brandished at a citizen. A detailed vehicle description, and driver was provided by the citizen. Responding officers identified and detained the suspect driver without incident. During the investigation, the passenger provided his account occurred during the initial incident. A community member approached officers to report the detained suspect, and the passenger brandished a firearm at him a day prior and provided evidence of the encounter. Officers arrested both suspects for felony harassment and unlawful use of weapons to intimidate. They were both booked into King County Jail. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant. The Crisis Response Team was also notified of the incident due to one of the suspect’s behavioral history.  

#2026-162598/North Precinct/Third Watch/B3

At 2350 hours, dispatch received a call of two people stealing a boat by Gasworks Park. Harbor Unit responded and located the boat and two people jumped off the boat and into the water. One suspect swam to shore and ran off, the other, could not swim and almost drowned. Harbor pulled the juvenile suspect out of the water and brought him to the Harbor station to be evaluated by Seattle Fire Department. The stolen boat was returned to the owner. After being evaluated, the juvenile suspect was booked into YSC.
