At 1029 hours, witnesses saw the victim and the suspect walking together near Olive Wy and Boren Av. The suspect pulled out a knife and tried to stab the victim. The victim blocked the knife with their right hand and sustained a cut to the palm. Witnesses called 911 and reported the assault. Officers and SFD arrived and located the victim. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to HMC via AMR. The suspect fled the scene. The victim refused to identify themself, refused to provide any information about the suspect, and declined any police services.
