At 0126 hours, officers responded to the area of 22 Av S/S Jackson St for a report of a male bleeding from the neck and another male with a shank. Officers arrived and rendered aid to the victim. Male suspect was still on scene and was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. With the scene secured, SFD responded and transported the victim to HMC in stable condition. Suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault 1.

At 0125 hours, officers were called to convenient store for a disturbance. The employee wanted the suspect removed from property after causing a disturbance. The suspect trespassed from the property and was told not to come return. The suspect assaulted an officer and was taken into custody and booked into KCJ.

At 0312 hours, victim called 911 to report that she had been stabbed in both legs. Officers arrived, located the victim, rendered the scene safe, called for aid, interviewed the victim and got a description of the suspect. The suspect description was broadcast, and additional officers located the possible suspect a few blocks away from the scene. The suspect was positively identified, and the Suspect was taken into custody. SFD transported the victim to HMC for non-life-threatening injuries. SFD also responded to the suspect’s location to treat the suspect for a self-inflicted knife wound. The knife was located and evidence was collected. The suspect was taken to HMC and was awaiting treatment before transport to KCJ.

At 1051 hours, officers responded to a shots call around 7800 5 Av S. The witness advised that they heard one shoot and a Toyota drive off from the scene. Officers located evidence at the intersection of 5 av/ S Chicago St. No victims and/or property damage were located. Officers checked the area for the suspect’s vehicle and did not locate. GVRU was notified.
