At 0203 hours, an event was being held in the 900 block of East Pike Street. Officers were on a premise monitoring bar close. A fight erupted outside of the club on the sidewalk involving 8-10 people. Officers intervened and took the primary instigator into custody for fighting. The suspect was quickly removed from the scene and transported to East Precinct. Suspect was later booked into KCJ.

At 0359 hours, third and first watch officers responded to a shooting call. A resident interrupted two suspects car prowling in the neighborhood. The resident confronted the two suspects and one of the suspects opened fire. The armed resident shot at the car prowlers. The suspects drove away and were not located. No known injuries. Patrol processed the scene and located two vehicles with damage. GVRU screened incident.

At 0852 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of 34th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Morgan Street for an arson investigation. SFD and Marshal 5 responded. ABS was notified. No one was injured by the fire. The suspect was arrested for investigation of Arson and booked into KCJ.

At 2130 hours, officers working at a weekend event walking a foot beat. They were flagged down by a community member regarding a fight at Broadway and Pike. The fight was minor and handled when one of the combatants made direct threats to come back and kill officers. Officers were clearing when the suspect circled the block and came up behind the officers with his hands in his pocket. Officers took him into custody, and he continued making direct threats to shoot officers.
