At 0232 hours, officers reported gunshots and people running from a parking lot near the location and requested additional units. Upon arrival of backing units, the parking lot had cleared out, and evidence throughout the parking lot. There were no victims located and no cooperative witnesses. As patrol was processing the scene, a victim was dropped off at Harborview Medical Center (HMC) with a single gunshot wound to the thigh. The victim was not forthcoming with information but confirmed she was at the location when she was shot. GVRU was contacted and responded to the scene and to HMC to interview the victim. Patrol processed the scene. The suspect(s) were not identified.

At 1313 hours, officers of the Seattle Police department were dispatched to the to a threat at a local hospital located on Sand Point Wy NE. Officers from multiple precincts arrived to assist north precinct officers with establishing security and investigating the alleged threat. King county, ABS, HNT, and K9s responded as well to assist. During the investigation it was determined to be a “Swatting” call. Once the determination was made, officers reduced their presence to just a hand full of north precinct officers who remained on scene to assist security and provide a visible presence at the location.
