At 1845 hours, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a park in King Sector. On arrival, no disturbance was located. As officers were wrapping up their investigation, they observed a shirtless male covered in blood begin walking through the park. Officers attempted to detain him, but he fled on foot into a nearby alleyway. He was detained and officers quickly identified that he had three apparent stab wounds. Officers provided medical aid until SFD took over care. The subject was transported via medic one to HMC with non-life-threatening injuries. An emergent detention was also completed due to the subject’s crisis behavior. Many witnesses were uncooperative or were unable to provide any suspect description.

At 1200 hours, GIU detectives and Southwest Patrol Officers conducted a joint organized retail theft operation at Ulta and Marshals. Detectives teamed with loss prevention representatives to identify and apprehend suspects. Five suspects were arrested for shoplifting. $750 in stolen merchandise was recovered.
