Around 1:00 a.m. officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 11600 block of Aurora Ave N. Officers located 8 pistol shell casings in the driveway of a nearby business. Employees of that business reported seeing what they believed to be a man firing a handgun at men who were assaulting a woman. Both involved vehicles were seen leaving the scene at high speed in opposite directions. The involved vehicles, and some of the involved subjects were captured on RTCC cameras.

Around 2;30 a.m., two males entered a gas station in the 9000 block of Delridge Wy SW. One stood by the door while the other pointed a handgun at the clerk, demanding money. The clerk gave them a small amount of money and the two suspects left on foot. A K9 track was conducted but the suspects were not located.

Around 4:00 a.m., two males entered a gas station located in the 4500 block of Fauntleroy WY SW and held store employees at gunpoint while stealing cash along with a package of cigars. Once inside, the two male suspects produced handguns and stole the above listed items. Both male suspects then left the area eastbound on SW Alaska St in a dark colored sedan.

Around 2:00 p.m., the victim interrupted a theft on his boat moored in Fauntleroy Cove. The suspect fled in a dinghy, and the victim gave chase. The suspect then brandished a knife at the victim. About this time, the USCG intervened, and the suspect brandished a knife at them. The USCG attempted to corral the suspect into Elliott Bay Marina. The suspect successfully beached the dinghy and fled on foot into the woods. Officers responded along with a K9 to assist with searching for the suspect but he was not located.

Approximately 1 hour after the end of the school day, an assault occurred at a bus stop near Garfield High School. The suspect vehicle and the victims at the bus stop got into a verbal dispute before the vehicle turned around and then pulled up to the bus stop and deployed pepper spray. The suspect then fled the scene. The pepper sprayed victim was treated by the school nurse.

The suspects from the earlier Garfield High School bear mace assault located the victims at Powell Barnett Park. The male suspect fired a gun at the victim’s car. The victim vehicle fled the scene. A short time later, the shooter arrived at the victim’s home and shot another round at the victim’s house.
