On 09/07/2026 at 11:23 p.m., officers patrolling the 1000 block of East Pike St contacted a vehicle with a fraudulent trip permit displayed. The driver of the vehicle returned to the car and spoke with officers, admitting to forging the permit. He was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of a handgun with altered serial and narcotics. Suspect is a convicted felon for drug and firearm offenses, and barred from possessing guns. Booked to KCJ.

On 09/07/2026 at 2:46 a.m., officers were dispatched to a shots fired incident near the intersection of 15th Ave NW and NW 75th St. Officers located approximately 20 shell casings of mixed calibers (rifle and pistol). No witnesses to the shooting incident were located on scene. A short time later an adult female arrived at Harborview Medical Center with a GSW to the leg. This victim was contacted by officers and detectives that were already at HMC and reported that she’d been shot while outside of a club at the above intersection.
