#2026-270987/East Precinct/Third Watch/E2

At 0130 hours, officers inside of the East Precinct were alerted to a male outside tagging patrol cars with a paint marker and damaging a window of a patrol car. Officers came out from the East Precinct and arrested the man. Three vehicles were damaged.

#2026-270805/South Precinct/First Watch/R1

At 0745 hours, officers responded to a threats call in R1. Security called 911 and stated an unknown male pulled a gun on them. The suspect was being trespassed from the property and had crossed the street on 12 Avenue South. The suspect then pointed a rifle style gun at two of the security guards and threatened to shoot them. The suspect was last seen walking southbound on 12 Avenue South and headed west towards the green space of Jose Rizal Park. A K9 track was conducted, but it was unsuccessful. PIO notified and 231 was on scene.

#2026-271197/North Precinct/Second Watch/J1

At 1343 hours, a two-officer car observed a known warrant subject (SPD $50,000) outside working on his vehicle. When the suspect noticed the officers, he fled into his backyard and into his residence. Several more officers were called to the scene. On duty HNT was utilized to attempt communication with the suspect. A warrant was applied for and after a considerable amount of time was given and all options were exhausted with no surrender, the front door was breeched by patrol. Eventually a barricaded door was opened, and the suspect was quickly taken into custody with no force used. A second subject who was inside was also taken into custody for outstanding Lynnwood and DOC warrants and booked into SCORE. The original subject was declined for a non-medical reason and taken to the hospital and will be guarded until booked.

#2026-271567/North Precinct/Third Watch/N3

At about 2000 hours, dispatchers received reports from a victim stating that he had been cut with a knife and that the suspect was nearby. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect. The suspect did not comply with verbal commands but was eventually taken into custody. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was uninjured and was booked into KCJ for assault.   

#2026-271393/West Precinct/Third Watch/D1

On the above date/time patrol responded to a 911 call at an apartment complex near Vine St/Cedar St where a previously evicted resident was causing a disturbance. The former resident illegally entered her former residence and began causing damage to the unit which caused on site security to respond. Prior to SPD arrival the suspect barricaded herself inside the unit. Attempts were made to have the suspect voluntarily leave the unit but were initially unsuccessful. A tactical plan was made, and a search warrant was in the process of being applied for when the suspect voluntarily opened the door to the unit for officers.  One officer was assaulted while taking the suspect into custody, and an AMR EMT was assaulted while attempting to load her. The suspect was initially a medical decline a KCJ but ultimately booked into KCJ for Residential Burglary and Assault 3.  

#2026-270760/North Precinct/First Watch

At 0620 hours, a 911 call came in regarding a half-sunk boat west of Shilshole. Harbor responded and located the vessel which was barely visible above water. Harbor was able to tow it into shallow water. During low tide, Harbor officers were able to investigate the vessel further, ensuring there was no one on the vessel when it sank and that no major fluid spill had occurred. The vessel was secured in place, and WA Department of Natural Resources derelict boat program was contacted for removal.
