At 0148 hours, subject, adult male, fell asleep next to active train tracks under a piece of cardboard. Train was slowly moving northbound on tracks, when train employee noticed person under cardboard. Train was stopped. Subject was pinned by the pedestrian step of train. Big first responder response. SFD extracted subject. SFD Transported to hospital with minor injuries. Screened with 233 and TCIS. Media notified.

At 0120 hours, 911 started to get several calls around the 1100 block of Rainier Avenue South for a man heard yelling and the sound of glass breaking. An officer arrived and found smoke coming from the building and several windows broken out. Additional officers found the suspect covered in blood a block north and promptly arrested him. Seattle Fire Department arrived, and found several small fires lit inside of the premise, which is a religious education institution. Fires and damage did not appear targeted/biased. Initial investigation shows suspect broke through a window and started setting several fires, destroyed property inside, and broke out windows from inside. None of the fires did any significant structural damage to the building. Fire Marshal 5 was on scene; incident was screened with ABS. Suspect is under guard at Harborview Medical Center.

At 0450 hours, North Pct officers responded to the Green Lake Park area for a shots fired call. Officers located the shooting scene, with broken vehicle glass and evidence in the roadway. Photos were taken and evidence was collected. After a very well-executed search of the park area, the responding officers located one of the vehicles involved. A consent to search form was obtained, and the vehicle was cleared for firearms. GVRU notified.

At about 0145 hours, dispatchers received reports that there was a group of males with a handgun and a rifle pointing the firearms at passing vehicles. Officers arrived and detained two subjects. A handgun was located on one of the suspects. Both males were discovered to be convicted felons. Officers spoke with the complainant who advised that prior to their arrival, one of the males took the rifle into an apartment. Officers completed a search warrant for the apartment which was granted. The search warrant was served on the residence and a handgun magazine, ammunition and a quantity of narcotics were located and seized. The rifle was not recovered. Both suspects were booked into KCJ for UPFA
#2026-270441/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/F1
At 1950 hours, officers responded to a found property call of discovered evidence on a foot path located near 26 AV SW and SW Graham St. Officers located shell casings in the heavily wooded area of the foot path. It is believed the found evidence is related to a shot’s fired call on 09/09/26 under SPD case #26-269415. No injuries reported, no property damage found. GVRU was notified and patrol processed the scene.
