#2026-296752/North Precinct/Third Watch/L2

At 12:30 a.m., dispatch received reports of a male shot in the 11000 block of 8th Avenue Northeast. Officers arrived and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand and abdomen. Officers provided aid until Seattle Fire Department arrived and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in serious but stable condition. The investigation revealed that there were voices heard shortly before the shooting. A female friend of the victim said she did not see the suspect and the victim did not know who shot him. Detectives with the Gun Violence Reduction Unit will be investigation and will determine what led to the shooting.     

#2026-296904/South Precinct/First Watch/R3

Around 7:30am, officers responded to investigate an initial bias complaint in the Seward Park neighborhood. Through the investigation, two unknown suspects were seen on surveillance video between 11:45pm and midnight and arriving at a private residence. The suspects were seen removing the victim’s American and Israel flags from their property, damaging them, and replacing the flags with a Palestinian flag on the flagpole. The suspects are then seen painting “Free Gaza” on the mailbox and “Jews for Palestine” on the driveway. Residents were not home during the incident. Residents were contacted this morning and felt the property damage was committed based on their national origin. There were also two other property damage locations with bias elements in R3 area that are possibly related. Suspects were not located.

#2026-297017/East Precinct/First Watch/G1

East precinct officers responded to a report of a domestic violence order violation. The suspect had outstanding felony warrants for Robbery and Eluding. In addition to the warrants, officers established probable cause to arrest for the order violation and requested south precinct officers to check the area where the suspect was likely staying. Officers located the suspect who attempted to flee. Type 2 force was used to take the suspect into custody.
