At 0032 hours, officers responded to the report of a male who had climbed to the top of a construction crane within a secure construction site. Upon arrival, officers saw the suspect walking along the top of the crane who then promptly hid from view. Officers attempted to communicate with the suspect via PA, but the suspect remained hidden. HNT and SFD technical rescue responded to assist. At about 0153, the suspect climbed down and was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was booked into KCJ for criminal trespass in the first degree and reckless endangerment.

At 1225 hours, officers responded to a shooting near E Alder St / ML King Jr Wy. Multiple witnesses advised that two subjects were involved in a verbal altercation. The victim used bear spray on the suspects. The suspect, who was driving a late-80s/early-90s black Ford, shot at the victim. The suspect was described as a white male in his 30s, fled the scene northbound on MLK Jr Wy. The victim described as a white male in his 30s, 5’7”-5’8”, wearing long sleeve shirt, also left the scene. One witness believed the victim was injured. Officers did not locate any evidence or property damage. This incident was screened with GVRU.

At 1424 hours, patrol officers responded to a report of shots being heard near 29 Av S/ S Walden St. Arriving officers found evidence of a shooting. There were no victims and limited witness information. The shooter possibly fled the scene in a black SUV.

At 1808 hours, A black SUV, believed to be the suspect vehicle from an earlier drive by shooting, reference 2026-320510, was parked in a parking lot. It was occupied by at least two people. Two suspects approached the SUV on foot and opened fire. Two occupants of the SUV exited the vehicle and returned fire. Nearby property damage to residences resulted, but no victims were located. Responding patrol officers located evidence. None of the shooting suspects were located by responding officers. Video of the shooting has been submitted in Evidence.com. GVRU was notified.
