#2023-106112/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 4-20-2023 at 0012 hours, officers responded to the 300 block of 15th Avenue for shots heard in the area. Officers found evidence of a shooting and one residence was hit by gunfire. No victims/suspects were located or identified.
#2023-106215/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0430 hours, officers contacted the victim of an assault and carjacking. The victim was physically assaulted by the suspect who fled in the victim’s vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital and the suspect was not located.
#2023-106349/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0930 hours, CRT officers responded to the 300 block of Marion St to assist with contacting a person in crisis. Officers contacted the suspect, who then pulled out a large kitchen knife and attempted to stab an officer. Officers were able to disarm the suspect and take him into custody.
#2023-106962/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2026 hours, officers located a shooting victim and began rendering medical assistance for a single injury to the man’s foot. Officers recovered evidence of a shooting at the NE corner of 3rd Ave / Columbia St. No arrests were made.
